Dredging at approach channel to Tai O Bay

    The Government intends to undertake dredging at the approach channel to Tai O Bay to provide a safe marine access for vessels.
 
     The dredging works, which involve an area of about 3.8 hectares of sea-bed, are scheduled to begin in August and to be completed by November this year.

     A notice describing the extent of area affected is published in the Government Gazette today (May 4).  

     The notice together with a related plan can be seen on notice boards posted near the site.  The plan can also be seen at the Lands Department's Survey and Mapping Office, 23rd Floor, North Point Government Offices and Islands District Office, 20th Floor, Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Central.

     Any person who has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved can submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, on or before July 4.
