The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (January 21) on a proposed Public Transport Interchange at Lei Yue Mun Estate Phase 3.
The proposed works include:
(i) permanent closure and conversion of the existing temporary bus terminus into a covered Public Transport Interchange with four bus bays;
(ii) permanent closure of the existing footpath; and
(iii) ancillary works including civil, drainage, sewerage, water and landscaping works.
The proposed works will commence in 2011 and are expected to be completed in 2015.
The plan and scheme of works are available for public inspection at the following Government offices:
(a) Central and Western District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong.
(b) Kwun Tong District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Lower Ground Floor, Kwun Tong District Branch Offices Building,
6 Tung Yan Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon.
(c) District Lands Office, Kowloon East, 10/F, Yau Ma Tei Carpark Building, 250 Shanghai Street, Kowloon.
Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16th Floor, Murray Building, Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, on or before March 22.
