A total of 54 nomination forms for the 2011 District Council election were received by Returning Officers of the 18 districts today (September 22).
This brings to 693 the total number of nomination forms received since the commencement of the nomination period on September 15.
A spokesman for the Registration and Electoral Office advised nominees to submit their nominations as early as possible to allow time to correct any mistakes in the nomination forms before the close of nominations on September 28.
