Woman holding charged with murder

Police today (August 12) laid a holding charge against a 29-year-old woman with one count of murder.
Police arrested the woman in suspected connection with a murder case in Cheung Sha Wan yesterday (August 11) in which a two-month-old baby girl was thrown to the ground from a corridor of Chung Hou House of Lei Cheng Uk Estate and later certified dead at Caritas Medical Centre.
The woman will appear before Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow (August 13).
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Sham Shui Po are underway.
