Police will implement special traffic arrangements in Sai Kung to facilitate the celebration of Tin Hau Festival.
The following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 10am on May 10 to 2pm on June 7:
(1) Yi Chun Street from its north of Yi Chun Street Refuse Collection Point to Man Nin Street will be closed;
(2) Nin Chun Street will be converted to one-way northbound;
(3) Man Nin Street between Yi Chun Street and Nin Chun Street will be converted to two-way;
(4) Traffic along Man Nin Street heading for Po Tung Road will be diverted to Nin Chun Street and Man Nin Street;
(5) The taxi stand at Yi Chun Street will be suspended, a temporary taxi stand will be set up in Po Tung Road car park; and
(6) The green minibus terminal at Yi Chun Street will be relocated to Man Nin Street.
The following parking spaces will be suspended from 8am on May 10 to 2pm on June 7:
(1) Parking spaces at Man Nin Street between Yi Chun Street and Nin Chun Street;
(2) Parking spaces in Yi Chun Street; and
(3) Three parking spaces for goods vehicles in Po Tung Road car park.
Actual implementation will be made depending on traffic conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
