Proprietor fined for violation of safety rules

Ho Hi Mong Investment Co Ltd was fined $20,000 at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts today (September 12) for violation of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance. The prosecution was launched by the Labour Department.
The case involved a fatal accident that occurred in Tsuen Wan on November 8 last year, in which a worker was struck and trapped to death by a chiller being transported down a ramp.
