Progress on banking complaints handled by HKMA

The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority:
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today (June 13) the progress on banking complaints handled by it as at end-May 2014. Banking complaints include cases concerning general banking services and conduct issues.
In May 2014, 113 cases were received and 107 cases were completed. As at end-May, the handling of 449 cases was in progress.
A table summarising the progress on banking complaints handled by the HKMA is attached.
