Progress on banking complaints handled by HKMA

The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority:
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today (September 17) the progress on banking complaints handled by it as at end-August 2014. Banking complaints include cases concerning general banking services and conduct issues.
In August 2014, 93 cases were received and 124 cases were completed. As at end-August, the handling of 442 cases was in progress.
A table summarising the progress on banking complaints handled by the HKMA is attached.
