Man holding charged with manslaughter

Police today (May 4) laid a holding charge against a 30-year-old man with one count of manslaughter.
About 7.46pm on April 13, Police received a report that a man fled after assaulting another man at a basketball court in Mei Lam Estate. Upon Police arrival, a 73-year-old man was found unconscious. He was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital and certified dead at 8.46pm on the same day.
Police arrested a 30-year-old man on May 2 in suspected connection with the case.
The case will be mentioned at Sha Tin Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (May 5).
