Woman holding charged with murder

Police today (August 26) laid a holding charge against a 30-year-old woman with one count of murder.
Police arrested the 30-year-old woman today in suspected connection with a murder case happened in Cheung Chau yesterday (August 25) in which her two-month-old son died.
The case will be mentioned at Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (August 27).
The 31-year-old sister of the woman was arrested for misleading Police officers and has been released on bail pending further enquiries. She is required to report back to Police in mid-September.
