Man in connection with offences in United Kingdom arrested

Upon a formal extradition request from the British Police, Hong Kong Police last night (September 25) arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with two cases of sexual offences in United Kingdom.
The man is now being detained in custody and will appear at Eastern Magistrates’ Courts today (September 26).
Hong Kong Police will continue to take strong enforcement action against overseas fugitives fleeing to Hong Kong.
