The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, today (April 2) extended his congratulations to Hong Kong snooker athletes Jaique Ip and Cheung Ka-wai for their success in winning the Mixed Pairs championship at the 2016 World Ladies Snooker Championship held in the United Kingdom.
Mr Lau said, "Jaique Ip and Cheung Ka-wai teamed up for the first time and the young duo ranked top and won the world championship. We are all delighted with their outstanding performance and their achievements has started a new page?for the development of snooker in Hong Kong."
