The following is issued on behalf of the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong.
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong today (March 7) announced results of the Registration Examination for pharmacists held in December, 2006.
There were 42, 38 and 38 candidates sitting for the Examination in "Pharmacy Legislation in Hong Kong", "Pharmacy Practice" and "Pharmacology" respectively with corresponding passing rates of 52.4%, 78.9% and 60.5%.
Apart from meeting other requirements prescribed by the board, any pharmacy graduate outside Hong Kong intending to be registered as a pharmacist in Hong Kong is required to pass these three subjects.
The board conducts its Registration Examination twice a year, normally in June and December.
