Trade show to attract film production professionals
***************************************************

The Film Services Office of the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority will organise "Locations World" - a four-day locations trade show - to provide an exchange platform for film production professionals from all over the world.

The trade show will be held at the 11th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market expo from March 20 to 23.

The "Locations World" will provide a good opportunity for production professionals from Hong Kong, the Mainland and Asian film, TV and advertising industries to meet directly with 40 film commissions and film offices from all over the world. During the locations trade show, the international filming community will be able to learn about the latest filming incentives, new film funds, permit applications, community and government support.

The Film Service Office will use the trade show to introduce its one-stop service on location filming in Hong Kong, from sourcing suitable locations to assisting in obtaining filming permits and liaising with government departments and public bodies.

Industry players from the film, advertising and creative industries are welcome to visit the 'Locations World', from March 20 to 23 from 9.30am to 6pm daily in Hall 5 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. People can e-mail to locationsworld@tela.gov.hk for free tickets which are available while stocks last.
