Charge laid in case relating to PAAG

In response to media enquiry, a Customs spokesman today (March 13) said that a 52-year-old woman from a beauty salon in Causeway Bay had been charged with offences under the Trade Descriptions Ordinance - two counts of applying a false trade description to goods (54 bottles of polyacrylamide gel, or PAAG), and one count of possession of the goods to which a false trade description is applied for trade purposes.
The case will be heard at the Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (March 14).
