Following is the transcript of remarks (English portion) at a media session by the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, in Beijing this afternoon (April 10):
Reporter: You met with (Beijing Party Secretary) Liu Qi at a time when about more than a hundred horses in Hong Kong are infected by a virus, I'm wondering whether that will undermine the reputation of Hong Kong.
Chief Executive: Horses, like human beings, they get sick, they get cured, so I do not think that needs to be fussed about. Party Secretary Liu Qi did not mention this at all with me. I think he's confident we are able to deal with this matter and overcome it. It will not be an issue by the time we hold the Olympics in Hong Kong.
