Appeal for information on missing girl (with photo)

    Police today (April 24) appealed to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a girl who went missing in Cheung Sha Wan.

     Chan Wai-yin, aged 15, was last seen at Cheung Sha Wan MTR Station on April 21 and failed to return home since then.  Her father made a report to the Police on April 23.

     Standing about 1.62 metres, she weighs about 41 kilograms and and is of thin build. She has a pointed face and short black straight hair.  She was last seen wearing school uniform (including a white short-sleeves shirt and a blue dress), a pair of black shoes and carrying a purple school bag.

     Police urged anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing girl to contact the investigating officers of the Regional Missing Persons Unit of Kowloon West on 2761 2394 and 2761 2396 or any police station.
