The Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau today (April 26) announced that in response to requests from the industry, the deadline for the consultation period on the introduction and regulation of mobile television in Hong Kong would be extended to Friday, May 11, 2007.
The Government launched a three-month consultation in January to seek public views in four areas of mobile TV services - spectrum availability, spectrum allocation, spectrum assignment and licensing arrangements.
The consultation document can be downloaded from the website of Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau (CITB): www.citb.gov.hk/ctb.
