Exhibition of Primary School Students' Creative Visual Arts Work (with photos)

    The public is invited to the "Exhibition of Primary School Students' Creative Visual Arts Work (2006-07)" being held at Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre of the Education and Manpower Bureau from now until May 7 and from May 12 to June 9.

     Organised by the bureau's Arts Education Section of the Curriculum Development Institute, the exhibition provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity and artistic ability in visual arts creations, and promotes educational communication among students, teachers and the public.

     This year, more than 800 pieces of artwork are on display. These exhibits have been selected from about 1,800 entries submitted by 200 primary schools. The artwork covers different topics, and a wide range of art forms and media such as drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics, sculpture, ceramics and different types of design.

     Admission to this exhibition is free. Details of the exhibition are as follows:

Exhibition period: April 28, 2007 (Saturday) to May 7, 2007 (Monday) and
                   May 12, 2007 (Saturday) to June 9, 2007 (Saturday)
Opening hours: Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm
               Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
               Sunday and public holidays: Closed
