Appeal for information on missing mother and daughters in Tin Shui Wai (with photo)

     Police today (January 17) appealed for information on a woman and her twin daughters missing in Tin Shui Wai.

     Cheung Wan-yui, 34, left her home in Tin Shing Court yesterday afternoon (January 16) with her two 22-month-old twin daughters, surnamed Hung, and failed to return. Her mother made a report to the police on the same day.

     The 34-year-old woman is about 1.6 metres tall, 77kg in weight and of strong build. She has a round face, with long straight black hair and yellow complexion. She was last seen wearing a red overcoat and blue trousers, and was carrying a red baby stroller with her 22-month-old twin daughters.

     The 22-month-old girls were also last seen wearing red overcoats. They are about 0.8 metre tall, 13kg in weight and of thin build. They have round faces, with short straight black hair and yellow complexion.

     Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long are proceeding.

     Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing woman and her daughters or who may have seen them is urged to contact the investigating officers on 6148 1577, 6148 1578 or any police station.
