| The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Ms Eva Cheng, delivered the opening remarks at the Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference held today (November 25) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Some 500 industry players, academics and government officials from more than 10 countries and regions participated in the conference to discuss global trends in logistics and maritime services and to explore opportunities under the National 12th Five-Year Plan. The conference was jointly organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in association with the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, the Hong Kong Maritime Industry Council and the Hong Kong Port Development Council. |
