Seminar for SMEs entitled "Staying Resilient Series - CEO Talk: Overcoming Difficulties"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Staying Resilient Series - CEO Talk: Overcoming Difficulties" on July 27 (Wednesday). The "Staying Resilient Series" seminars, including chapters on "CEO Talk", "Finance", "Operation" and "Human Capital", seek to introduce new concepts and positive thinking that address the needs of SMEs in different aspects, with a view to motivating SMEs to stay resilient and overcome challenges. This seminar launches the Series, inviting successful entrepreneurs and a scholar to share their experience in facing difficulties and discuss how to overcome challenges.

     The speakers and guests will include the President of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, Dr Eddy Li; the Chairman of Hoi Tin Tong Co Ltd, Dr Ng Yiu-ming; the Research Director of the Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy, Dr Mark Lee; the President of Hong Kong SME Development Federation Ltd and Managing Director of Delicron (HK) Ltd, Dr Edward Lam; and the Vice President of Hong Kong SME Development Federation Ltd and General Manager of Oriental International Health Products Co Ltd, Dr Kevin Tsui.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, Exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.

     Those interested are invited to register with SUCCESS by July 25 (Monday). Due to the venue's limited seating capacity, seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
