Immigration Department follows up incident of Hong Kong residents being attacked in Würzburg, Germany

Following visit to the injured residents in the hospitals by representatives of the HKETO, the ImmD will also deploy four officers to Germany tonight to accompany the family members to visit the injured and provide all practical assistance according to the wish of the injured and their family. The ImmD will continue to closely liaise with OCMFA, the Embassies, the Consulates-General, the HKETO, the injured and their family to follow up the case. The ImmD advises Hong Kong residents already there to attend to personal safety.
Hong Kong residents travelling outside Hong Kong who need assistance may call the 24-hour hotline of the Assistance to Hong Kong Residents Unit of ImmD at (852) 1868.
