The Immigration Department follows up the incident of Hong Kong residents being attacked in Würzburg of Germany

Four officers of the ImmD arrived at Frankfurt, Germany, this morning and, with the staff of the HKETO and Chinese Embassy and Consulates-General, have accompanied the family members to visit two of the injured in the hospital, and to meet the medical officers to understand the medical condition of the injured and the medical plan. The staff of ImmD and Chinese Embassy and Consulates-General have urged the local hospital to exert their utmost effort to provide the injured with appropriate medical treatment. The ImmD will accompany the family members to visit the remaining injured in other hospitals and render all practical assistance according to the wish of the injured and their family. The ImmD will continue to closely liaise with OCMFA, the Embassies, the Consulates-General, the HKETO, the injured and their family to follow up the case. The ImmD advises Hong Kong residents already there to attend to personal safety.
