Hong Kong Customs seizes suspected cocaine in Sheung Wan (with photo)

During an anti-narcotics operation in Sheung Wan yesterday afternoon, Customs officers intercepted two men and found the suspected dangerous drugs in their possession and their residence.
The two men, aged 30 and 33 respectively, both claimed to be unemployed, were arrested for suspected trafficking in a dangerous drug. The case is still under investigation.
Under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, trafficking in a dangerous drug is a serious offence. The maximum penalty is life imprisonment and a fine of $5 million.
