Hong Kong Customs seizes suspected cocaine at airport (with photos)

The arrested woman arrived at Hong Kong from Bolivia via Brazil and Dubai yesterday afternoon. During Customs clearance, Customs officers found the suspected cocaine soaked inside her suitcase.
The arrested woman, aged 24 and claimed to be a wedding planner, was charged with one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug. She will appear at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (September 17).
Under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, trafficking in a dangerous drug is a serious offence. The maximum penalty is life imprisonment and a fine of $5 million.
