Secretary for Justice to visit Bangkok

     The Secretary for Justice, Mr Rimsky Yuen, SC, will lead a delegation of legal and dispute resolution professionals to visit Bangkok, Thailand, from October 5 to 7 to promote Hong Kong's international legal and dispute resolution services. He will also attend promotional activities to be held by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).

     While in Bangkok, Mr Yuen will officiate at the opening ceremony of "In Style．Hong Kong" organised by the HKTDC and speak at the thematic session on "Legal Risk Management: Key to International Trade and Investment", which is part of the "In Style．Hong Kong" symposium. He will also officiate at the "In Style．Hong Kong" Gala Dinner.

     In addition, Mr Yuen will launch "Hong Kong Live in Bangkok" presented by the HKTB to promote Hong Kong tourism experiences.

     Mr Yuen and representatives of Hong Kong’s legal and dispute resolution delegation will take the opportunity to meet with relevant Thai officials to exchange views on matters of mutual interest.

     He will return to Hong Kong in the evening on October 7.
