Appointment to Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service

     The Government announced today (October 19) that the Chief Executive has appointed Mrs Ann Kung Yeung Yun-chi to be a member of the Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service (Directorate Committee) for a term of two years from November 1, 2016, to October 31, 2018.

     At the same time, the Government expresses deep gratitude to Dr Eliza Chan Ching-har, who will soon be retiring from the Directorate Committee, for the valuable contribution that she has provided over the past six years.

     The Directorate Committee tenders advice to the Government on matters relating to the structure, pay and conditions of service of directorate ranks in the civil service. It is currently chaired by Mr Pang Yiu-kai and comprises Mr Clement Chen Cheng-jen, Mr Peter Sit Kien-ping, Mr Ivan Sze Wing-hang and Mrs Betty Yuen So Siu-mai.
