The Returning Officers (except religious subsector) for the 2016 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections received a total of 275 nomination forms today (November 9). This brings to 807 the total number of nomination forms received since nominations for the Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections opened yesterday (November 8). The nomination period will end on November 14.
 
     For each subsector/sub-subsector, a poll will be held on December 11 if there is contested election for that subsector/sub-subsector.

     One designated body of the religious subsector handed in a nomination form today, involving a total of 33 nominees. Nominations for this subsector are returned by six designated bodies.
