SCMA to visit Xi'an

     The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, will visit Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, tomorrow (April 26) to officiate at the opening ceremony of the Shaanxi Liaison Unit of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government and attend the celebration activities of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR.

     During the visit, Mr Tam will also meet with officials of the Shaanxi provincial government.

     Mr Tam will return to Hong Kong in the evening of April 27. During his absence, the Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Ronald Chan, will be the Acting Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs.
