SCS on civil service pay adjustment

     Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for the Civil Service, Mr Joshua Law, at a media session after the meeting of the Legislative Council Panel on Public Service today (July 17):
 
Reporter: Do you fear the DQs (disqualifications) may affect the proposed plan to discuss civil service's pay rise?
 
Secretary for the Civil Service: I think most LegCo members do have the public interests in mind, and I do hope that the Finance Committee will, in the remaining time that is available before the LegCo summer recess, process and approve all the items, including the item on civil service pay adjustment. Thank you.
