SHA congratulates Hong Kong karatedo athletes on winning first two medals at National Games

The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, today (August 25) congratulated Hong Kong athletes Cheng Tsz-man and Hung Ho-wai on winning a silver medal and a bronze medal respectively in the Male Individual Kata at the 13th National Games. These are also the first two medals won by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) delegation at the Games.

Mr Lau said, "Cheng Tsz-man and Hung Ho-wai won Hong Kong's first two medals at the Games, which is exciting for our supporters. Their performance was outstanding and their achievement encourages the HKSAR delegation greatly. I hope other athletes from the delegation can perform as brilliantly in the coming events."
