New District Officer for Yuen Long assumes office (with photo)

     Mr Enoch Yuen will assume the post of District Officer (Yuen Long) tomorrow (December 13), succeeding Mr Edward Mak.

     Mr Yuen joined the Administrative Service in 2001. He has served in various bureaux and departments including the former Information Technology and Broadcasting Bureau; the former Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau; the Home Affairs Bureau; the Chief Secretary for Administration's Office; the former Constitutional Affairs Bureau; the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Sydney and the Security Bureau.

     He was the Assistant Director-General of Trade and Industry before taking up the new post.
