1823 telephone service returns to normal

During the period, the voicemail, email, facsimile, "Tell me@1823" mobile application and SMS text services were operational as normal, and Customer Service Officers fully deployed these channels to respond to public enquiries.
A spokesman for the Efficiency Unit said, "We are investigating into the cause of the system failure with the service provider. We apologise to the public for any inconvenience caused."
