Public welcome to attend seminars on end-of-life care

     The Food and Health Bureau (FHB) is conducting a three-month public consultation on end-of-life care legislative proposals regarding advance directives and dying in place. To enhance public understanding of end-of-life care services, the FHB and the Jockey Club End-of-life Community Care Project will jointly hold a series of public seminars for the public to exchange views with representatives of the FHB and end-of-life care professionals.
 
     Details of the public seminars are as follows:

Date: October 17 (Thursday)

Date: October 29 (Tuesday)
Time: 4pm to 5.30pm
Venue: Henry G Leong Yaumatei Community Centre, 60 Public Square Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon
 
3.
Date: November 8 (Friday)
Time: 11am to 12.30pm
Venue: Ming Hua Hall, 4/F, St James Settlement, 85 Stone Nullah Lane, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

Date: November 11 (Monday)
Time: 2.30pm to 4pm
Venue: Lecture Room 1, Tuen Mun Town Hall, 3 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories

Date: November 12 (Tuesday)
Time: 10am to 11.30am
Venue: Lecture Room 1, Sha Tin Town Hall, 1 Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin, New Territories

Time: 7pm to 8.30pm
Venue: Auditorium, Christian Family Service Centre, 3 Tsui Ping Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon

Date: November 28 (Thursday)
Time: 10am to 11.30am
Venue: Lecture Room 2, Sha Tin Town Hall, 1 Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin, New Territories
 
     The seminars will be conducted in Cantonese. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the public who would like to attend any of the seminars should register at www.jcecc.hk/sem2019. Walk-in registration will only be accepted subject to availability of seats.
