Miss Choi joined the Administrative Service in 2001. She has served in various bureaux and departments including the Home Affairs Department; the former Education and Manpower Bureau; the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau; the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau; the Housing Department; and the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau.
She was the Principal Assistant Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Commerce and Industry) before taking up the new post.
