SHA congratulates Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning Olympic silver medal

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Caspar Tsui, today (July 28) congratulated Hong Kong swimming athlete Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games silver medal in the Women's 200m Freestyle competition for Hong Kong.
 
     Mr Tsui said, "Siobhan Bernadette Haughey has performed brilliantly and impressed the world as Hong Kong athlete. Despite the delay of the Tokyo Olympic Games for one year which has affected the arrangements of competitions and training, Siobhan still managed to overcome all difficulties and achieved victory in the game of the highest standard. We are very delighted and proud of her. I wish Siobhan success and glory in future endeavours in sports."
