Police National Security Department laid holding charges against a man and a woman

     The National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force (NSD) arrested four men and two women, aged between 32 and 67, yesterday (April 6) for suspected of doing an act or acts with seditious intention, contravening Section 9 and 10 of the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200).

     The NSD today (April 7) laid holding charges against the 59-year-old man with one count of doing an act or acts with seditious intention and one count of uttering seditious words; and the 67-year-old woman with one count of uttering seditious words.

     The case will be mentioned at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow morning (April 8).

     Other arrestees were released on bail and are required to report back to Police in early May, 2022.
