Tropical Storm Nalgae roundup

     As Tropical Storm Nalgae is moving away from Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Observatory issued the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 at 5.20am today (November 3). It replaced the No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal issued at 2.40am today.

     The Home Affairs Department has opened 26 temporary shelters in various districts and 104 people have sought refuge.

     As at 5am today, the 1823 Government Call Centre has received 11 reports of fallen trees. No reports of landslide or flooding have been received.

     According to the Hospital Authority, as at 5am today, one woman has been injured during the typhoon period and received medical treatment at the Accident and Emergency Department of a public hospital.
