Temporary closure of Wan Tsai South Campsite and Wan Tsai West Campsite

     The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) announced today (December 23) that the Wan Tsai South Campsite and Wan Tsai West Campsite at Sai Kung West Country Park (Wan Tsai Extension) have been closed temporarily for urgent maintenance works.

      "Due to the urgent maintenance works on public toilets of the Wan Tsai South Campsite and Wan Tsai West Campsite, the department has closed the concerned campsites. During the temporary closure, members of the public may use other country park campsites under the department. Country park visitors should comply with social distancing measures, as well as maintain personal and environmental hygiene," an AFCD spokesman said.

     The department will announce the latest arrangements of the concerned campsites on the Enjoy Hiking website (www.hiking.gov.hk) in due course.
