All Inland Revenue Department offices to operate at Inland Revenue Centre at Kai Tak from next Monday

The Inland Revenue Department announced today (May 11) that starting from next Monday (May 15), all offices of the department will provide services at the Inland Revenue Centre at 5 Concorde Road, Kai Tak, Kowloon. The business hours and contact telephone numbers of the respective offices will remain unchanged.

The department has been relocating its offices from the Revenue Tower, Wan Chai, to the Inland Revenue Centre at Kai Tak by phases since the end of last year. The remaining offices yet to be relocated, namely Unit 3 sections which include the Computer Back Up (Accounts) Section, Estate Duty Office, Refund Section and Tax Reserve Certificates Section, will complete their relocation by May 15.

The department encourages the public to use electronic services to handle tax affairs as far as possible. A list of such services can be found on the department's website at www.ird.gov.hk/eng/ese/index.htm.
