HKETO, Brussels supports Barcelona International Dragon Boat Fest (with photos)

     The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels) supported the 4th Barcelona International Dragon Boat Fest (the Festival) held on May 20 and 21 (Barcelona Time) in Castelldefels, Barcelona in Spain.

     Presenting awards on May 20, Assistant Representative of HKETO, Brussels Ms Carol Tsang remarked that dragon boat racing is an exciting sport and a bridge connecting people from all over the world. 

     "Dragon boat racing is a good example showcasing the unique old-meets-new culture in Hong Kong. I would like to invite you all to Hong Kong and experience our vibrant and diversified cosmopolitan life," said Ms Tsang. 

     About 600 participants and 30 dragon boat teams from Asia, Europe and North America took part in the competitions in the Festival. Apart from watching the competitions, visitors could experience the fun of the sport by rowing the dragon boat sponsored by HKETO, Brussels.
