Repairs and relief for Shek O residents

Shek O Road was temporarily closed due to landslides and a road collapse amid September's heavy rains, prompting emergency repairs and the use of a pontoon for the first time to help evacuate isolated residents.

Senior Maintenance Engineer of the Highways Department Mr Benny Hui spoke to news.gov.hk about the repairs and plans for the resumption of two-lane traffic, while Senior Station Officer of the Fire Services Department Mr Ng Chung-yin and Station Officer Mr Luk Chun-yin talked about the deployment of the pontoon at Shek O.
