Please broadcast the following special announcement by the Education Bureau concerning schools, and repeat it at suitable intervals:

As the Hong Kong Observatory will issue Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 at 12.40pm today (October 8), classes of all schools are suspended today. Schools should implement contingency measures to ensure the safety of students. They should ensure that conditions are safe before allowing students to return home.
