Tender Invitation for the Design and Construction of One (1) Electric Ferry

It is hereby notified that The “Star” Ferry Company, Limited invites tenders for the design and construction of one (1) electric ferry with carrying capacity of 500 passengers for ferry route operating between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central within Hong Kong waters (The “Star” Ferry Company, Limited Shipbuilding Tender Reference No.202312-D).
Tenders must be enclosed in a sealed plain envelope and affixed with a specific tender label (but without any identification of the name of the Tenderer and without any indication which may relate the Tenderer to a particular contractor / supplier / service provider) addressed to the Tender Assessment Panel and submitted at the “Tender Submission Place” from Monday to Friday (exclude Saturday and Public Holiday) between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The “Tender Submission Place” is situated at Star Ferry Pier, Kowloon Point, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The Tender Closing Time and Date for submission will be at 12:00 noon on (Wednesday), 3 April 2024 (Hong Kong Time).
The Tender Documents are available in soft copies, which are obtainable upon email request sent to eferry@starferry.com.hk. All interested parties are invited to tender.
All requests for clarification and any enquiries regarding this Tender must be submitted in writing to the email addresses below with copy to the Environmental Protection Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China via email to eferry@epd.gov.hk:
