Highlights of the Year 2023-24

Enrolled Nurse Training Programme for the Welfare Sector
Additional 1 700 or more students have been subsidised to enrol in Enrolled Nurse (EN) (General) training within the next five years, starting from 2023-24 academic year under the EN Training Programme for the Welfare Sector. The number of institutions commissioned to provide the Training Programme has increased from one to three, offering a total of 427 training places in 2023-24, more than double the 200 places in 2022-23. By the close of the application period in March 2024, the three institutions received over 3 300 applications for admission to the 2024-25 cohort of the Training Programme.
