Victim Support Programme for Victims of Family Violence
Introduction
Tsui Lam Centre of Po Leung Kuk provides information, emotional support and escort service for victims of family violence when they are undergoing legal proceedings or facing sudden changes in life with the aim of reducing their feeling of fear and helplessness.
Service Target
Spouses / cohabitants being / have been harmed or children being / have been harmed / maltreated in domestic violence and their family members.
Application
- Referrals from social workers of the following units:
- Family and Child Protective Services Units / Integrated Family Service Centres / Medical Social Services Unites / Probation and Communities Service Orders Offices of the Social Welfare Department;
- Integrated Family Service Centres / Integrated Services Centres of Non-governmental Organisations;
- Medical Social Services Units of the Hospital Authority;
- Refuge Centres for Women / Multi-purpose Crisis Intervention and Support Centre (CEASE Crisis Centre);
- Support Service Centres for Ethnic Minorities
- Direct application (Only applicable to specific services)
