N1 Following the issue and allotment of 76,021,429 new shares of iAsia
Technology Limited ("iAsia") to the relevant vendors pursuant to the
completion of the acquisitions of 65% interests and 55% interests
respectively in CFN Hongkong Limited and CFN (UK) Limited on
5 December 2001, the original shareholdings of some substantial
shareholders of iAsia had been diluted and ceased to have
notifiable interests.
N2 Diamonds and Pearls Limited, held 1,956,000,000 shares (the "Shares")
in Smartech Digital Manufacturing Holdings Limited, has executed a
Share Mortgage dated 3 January 2001 by pledging the Shares in favour
of New Universe Holdings Limited to secure the repayment of loan
granted to Diamonds and Pearls Limited of HK$40,000,000 together
with interest thereon.
N3 There is no change in shareholdings for the rest of the associated
companies of Convenience Retail Asia Ltd except the one indicated in
this Summaries. For the detail of their shareholdings, please refer
