The Observatory “Working Together for a Better Climate” Open Day

Editorial Board

The Hong Kong Observatory will hold the Hong Kong Observatory Open Day on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December 2024, with the theme “Working Together for a Better Climate”.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The Open Day activities will not only showcase the various services of the Observatory and enhance public understanding and awareness of climate change and extreme weather, but will also provide a brief overview of the long-standing collaboration between the Observatory and meteorological authorities in mainland China and around the world over the years.

All tickets with a QR code had been emailed to successful applicants on or before 16 November. Other than on-site event, members of the public can also join the Hong Kong Observatory Open Day on-line commencing 30 November 2024 via the website.
