Professor Judd Kinzley from University of Wisconsin in the US will focus on one of these businessmen to reveal the powerful role that they played in shaping the dimensions of American power in East Asia, Latin America, and the wider Cold War world. Professor Kinzley was invited by The University of Hong Kong to give a talk entitled “Chinese Businessmen and the Economic Roots of the Cold War Order, 1938 - 1955.”
